Recap
Keeping our water systems safe requires a keen understanding of the emerging technologies and best practices that are working to mitigate today’s threats to water safety.
The Emerging Water Technology Symposium provides a unique opportunity to meeting well-known experts from across the globe. Participants are able to discover ideas and approaches about emerging technologies coming to market; learn about innovative green plumbing and mechanical concepts; view presentations; and engage in timely discussions on how the water utility, manufacturing, engineering and trade industries have found solutions through emerging technologies for the water efficiency, plumbing and mechanical industries.
We’re Goin’ to TEXAS!
The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE), the Alliance for Water Efficiency (AWE), the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO), and Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI), in cooperation with the World Plumbing Council (WPC), is proud to announce the convening of the seventh biennial Emerging Water Technology Symposium (EWTS) on May 12–13, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas.
The seventh EWTS is co-convened by the four associations that have worked together closely over the past few years to grow the symposium and made it a can’t-miss event for those who work or are interested in the fields of safe plumbing, water distribution, and water efficiency. A true international symposium, the EWTS welcome abstracts and participation from across the globe.
There is no other event where participants can meet so many well-known experts in the fields of water and energy efficiency. Attendees learn about emerging products and installation practices and witness the exchange of views on new trends in the industry. Participants heard ideas and approaches about emerging technologies coming to market; learn about how to manage building water systems from opportunistic pathogens, such as legionella, and other water hazards; innovative green plumbing and mechanical concepts; view presentations and energetic panel discussions; and engage in timely discussions on how the water utility, manufacturing, engineering and trade industries have found solutions through emerging technologies in the water-efficiency, plumbing and mechanical industries.
Stay tuned for more details!
"This symposium represents an exciting opportunity to highlight how our industry creates and adapts to emerging technologies through the use of a vital emerging technology, As always, the EWTS promises to be tremendously informative, as a great many unique organizations will seize the opportunity by providing their most highly-qualified experts as presenters and panelists."
