A chance collection of circumstances led Wren to live among impoverished and marginalized Pygmy people in the rainforest. This transformative experience caused him to found the non-profit Fight For The Forgotten which, since 2013, has provided more than 52,000 indigenous people with access to clean drinking water and replanted thousands of trees.

PMI24 Women’s Breakfast to feature Atlanta Braves’ chief culture officer

The PMI24 Women’s Breakfast on Nov. 6 will feature Atlanta’s celebrated Dr. DeRetta Cole Rhodes, executive vice president and chief culture officer of the Atlanta Braves, who will focus on the importance of voice as a female leader. Rhodes, who has a Ph.D. in adult education, oversees people capital initiatives, communications, and community affairs for the Braves, The Battery Atlanta, and the team’s spring training facility operations.
